Meet your photographer...

My name is Carla Fairchild, I'm 24, and a coffee obsessed mom of two boys,  Karson & Brantley. I married my bestfriend Brian on September 1st 2018 & we have 3 cats, Cali, Bella & Beef. I'm a lover of all things coffee, candles, and cozy spaces. In my spare time you can find me with a coffee in hand, editing, snapping photos, shopping, baking or snuggled up with a blanket watching netflix.. Of course, only when I'm not chasing my toddler, loving on my newborn or simply spending quality time with my family.

So, how did I become a part of this photography craze?

Ever since I looked through the lens of my first camera at 15 years old I began seeing the world through new eyes. I saw beauty in everything around me. It’s funny how something so simple like blades of grass, and a crawly bug can become a work of art and look completely different depending on the angle, the light that hits it and the lens that was used to photograph it. I grew up photographing everything around me. I could be driving down the road and literally stop my car to photograph a tree or building or field simply because I saw something in the way it was on that day, at that time, in that lighting, that is beautiful to me.

Most of my life it was a hobby of mine but I always knew I wanted to become a professional. I'm still working my way there but we all start somewhere, right?

I strive to build a relationship with all of my clients and just have fun with the session. During a session I not only want you to have a good time but I want to get on a personal level & make you as comfortable as possible so your photos tell your story, not just an overused uptight posing session. I aim for natural postures, real smiles, and in the moment eye contact. Capturing the raw moments of life has more beauty, meaning & truth. What makes me different from all the others is that I'm not just snapping pictures of someone & providing simple images, I focus on telling your raw emotions through a photograph that will be cherished for years to come.
